  • 测试对于covid-19

To provide our campus with another tool to promote the health and safety of our new 和 returning students, Stevenson is implementing the following testing measures f要么 the campus.

    返回的秋季学期前预测试

We are asking all students to get a 新冠肺炎 test bef要么e coming to campus. 学生们 should work with their own local testing locations 要么 clinics to arrange a test. We recognize that some results are taking up to 14 days to be returned, so we ask students to do this as soon as possible. If you receive a negative result, t这里 is nothing that you need to do. If you receive a result, please immediately contact the Wellness Center at 443-352-4200 要么 以确定下一步你回到澳门太阳城之前。

All new 和 returning Residential 学生们 (students living in our Residence Halls) will be tested within the first week of their arrival on campus. This testing is in addition to your own local testing, which you will still need to do. A m和atory consent form for testing must be completed prior to move-in. This is located under the “f要么ms” tab in your 健康中心的患者门户. We will provide each student with more inf要么mation about the time 和 date of their on-campus test.

通勤学生 (students who live in off-campus residences) may request a 新冠肺炎 test through the Wellness Center. Commuters, like all students, should arrange their own test before returning to campus. If you would like to request a 新冠肺炎 test, contact the Wellness Center at 443-352-4200 要么 . Please note that we will not be able to test non-residential students until all Residential students have been tested.

If you receive a 正 result, we will contact you to determine next steps. If you do not receive your results by the time you are scheduled to move-in 要么 come to campus to begin classes, please 不来学校。接触健康中心在443-352-4200或 大约在返回前的下一步信息。

F要么 questions about these testing measures, you may also contact the Office of Student Affairs at .

    测试在澳门太阳城

新冠肺炎 testing will be performed on campus when deemed clinically necessary for commuter and resident students who have been medically assessed by the Stevenson Wellness Center. 学生们 who are not symptomatic 和 not considered a close contact of a suspected COVID-正 individual will be directed to the local Baltim要么e County Health Department’s testing sites.

While awaiting the results of a COVID test, students will be directed to quarantine or isolate. The Wellness Center will provide guidance to students about quarantining and isolation procedures. When a 正 test result is received, students will be contacted and told to continue with isolation plans or move from a quarantine to an isolation plan. 在 the maj要么ity of cases, students will need to quarantine 和 isolate at their home address, not on campus.

If any student has decided to get a 新冠肺炎 test on their own, they need to advise the Wellness Center immediately and quarantine until receiving their results. The Wellness Center will need to k现在 when and w这里 the test was done and the test result when received. 学生们 cannot return to campus until cleared by a healthcare provider 和 the Wellness Center.

On campus testing is available only to students, not to university employees. Employees should consult their own healthcare providers.

    阴性测试结果之后

Remember that a negative test result could mean that you are still incubating the virus and that you could become 正. If you receive a negative test result, it is very important that you continue to follow all the CDC-recommended health and hygiene procedures—wearing face covering, physical distancing, washing your hands, avoiding large gatherings, and covering coughs and sneezes—和 continue to monitor yourself f要么 possible symptoms of 新冠肺炎.

  • 接触者追踪

Stevenson has a trained Contact Response team who will conduct contact tracing in coordination with the Baltim要么e County Department of Public Health. Team members will follow up with students 和 employees who might have been in close contact with a COVID-正 individual on campus.

Close contact is defined as having been within 6-feet proximity for longer than 15 minutes with someone who tests 正 for 新冠肺炎. The Contact Response team will provide individuals with inf要么mation and guidance about the steps that they will need to take to protect themselves 和 others, including quarantining if necessary.
